How do I start the private label process, i.e., coffee shop, church, business, etc.?

Where do you source your coffee?
We use carefully vetted coffee brokers for our green coffee but will also work directly with coffee farms.
Can I create my own blend?
Absolutely! However, this is feature will be dependent on meeting minimum requirements per order. Ask our sales team to learn more.
What is the shelf life of the coffee?
We recommend a six-month best-by date to ensure maximum freshness. Once opened, the coffee will be good for approximately 2-3 weeks.
What’s the difference between espresso beans and drip beans?
The short answer is nothing. Both espresso and drip are brew methods. Beans labeled for espresso have been blended and roasted for that specific brew method’s intense concentration.
What types of bags do you use?
We only use food-grade, vented, laminated bags in sizes that are capable of holding 12 oz., 2 lb. and 5 lb. of coffee.
What are your minimums?
We require a 50 lb. minimum for private label coffees.

What type of coffee beans do you offer?
We source coffee beans from select areas in the coffee growing regions. Some of our favorites are East Africa, South America, Central America, and Indonesia.
Who founded the Specialty Roastworks?
Rob Webb is the founder of the brand. Rob's father started a regional office coffee service business in the 1970s. When Rob took over the family business, he embraced a passion for specialty, hand-roasted coffee producing amazing blends and single-origin roasts that are second to none.
Who actually roasts the coffee?
Jason Smith has overseen the roasting of each batch of our coffee. Jason started roasting coffee out of his home using a popcorn popper. He has over a decade of roasting experience and will geek out on you when you get him to talk about coffee.
Can you design my label or bag?
Absolutely! We have an in-house design team who is more than capable of working with you to develop a coffee label or custom bag design you'll be proud to share.
How do you develop coffee blends?
Our roastmaster will work with you to determine what flavor profile you prefer. If you're not sure, no worries. Our team is able to work with you to find just the right blend for your needs. You can also choose from one of the blends we have already developed.
Can I choose different grind levels for my coffee?
Of course! While our recommendation is to package your coffee as whole bean, we have the ability to grind your coffee for various brew methods you may need.
